Met Police Gift Tree Appeal | Thank You
This was our third year working with the Met Police to deliver arts and crafts to children who may not receive presents at Christmas. We matched every box that our customers donated, delivering a total of 206 boxes! Our biggest EVER donation!
The Met Police thanked our wonderful customers for their help, saying;
“Thank you so much for the donation of Toucan boxes. They are going to children who otherwise may not get a present at Christmas. Sadly our numbers of children needing a present have almost doubled this year and we would not be able to do this without your help.”
We had the pleasure of meeting some of the children who received our boxes at the Metropolitan Police Christmas Party, and got to see first hand the effect your generosity has had.
We met children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Together we made google-eyed aliens, dinosaur dress up and (of course) went through a LOT of stickers!
The kids loved getting creative with crafts and were so happy to have a little creation of their own to take home afterwards!
The Met Police concluded by saying;
“A huge thanks to you and your customers for helping us bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas.”
