World Book Day is nearly upon us. On the 7th March it’s time to celebrate our favourite books, discover brilliant new ones and share the power of a story.
So if you’re about to embark on an exciting new book, you might need a nifty little gadget to save your pages. “Where on earth am I going to find a nifty little gadget from?” you might ask.
To save the day, superhero style, we’ve created a page saver bookmark that you can print at home for free. This one features a peaceful dinosaur pal to watch over your saved page. But once you’ve got the hang of the origami folds, why not have a go at making your own designs? You could even use your favourite book character as inspiration.
1 Download the PDF above. 2 Print it out. 3 Follow the folding instructions to make your page saver. 4 Add the dino detail with a little glue or tape. 5 Start your reading adventure.
There’s a lot of books to choose from, so if you’re feeling a little stuck this World Book Day, we asked some Toucanoos to share their favourite childhood stories. And if you’re in need of some inspiration for a costume this year, check out our easy character outfits, perfect in a pinch.
Happy reading!
